We value up and coming filmmakers and event managers, and thus we have been incorporating volunteers into our festival since we started in 2016.
About Volunteering
We value up and coming filmmakers and event managers, and thus we have been incorporating volunteers into our festival since we started in 2016.
In order to ensure the Fleurieu Film Festival is a vibrant event, a pleasure to attend and its background support operates seamlessly the organisers require the support of a number of volunteers to carry out various hands-on roles:
- Set up and pack down of seating, stage, trestle tables and ticketing areas.
- Placing bins, banners, witches hats and buntings.
- Car parking assistance - directing patrons from car park to event venue
- Ticketing assistance - bag checking, ticketing
- Direct VIP’s and patrons as required
- Assist patrons with waste disposal and monitor cleanliness, assist with rubbish removal
- Other general duties as required
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers are required to make their own way to and from the event.
As this is an outdoor event volunteers are required to wear comfortable cool clothing, closed toe shoes.
What we Supply
Fleurieu Films Inc will supply snacks; water/soft drinks and a voucher for a light evening meal will be supplied.
Alternatively, food can be obtained from food trucks at the volunteer’s expense. We will also provide sunscreen.
Volunteers are welcome to enjoy the screening of the short films when not carrying out volunteer tasks.
