Come for the short films, big stories, under the stars at McLaren Vale Visitor Centre lawns.
Enjoy live music while sipping local wines and enjoying delicious meals from food trucks on site. As night falls at this beautiful setting amongst the vines, we will screen a fantastic lineup of films from South Australia and beyond, and awards will be presented in a number of categories.
Following the success of the 2024 festival, priding itself on nurturing Australia’s emerging and established filmmakers, the Fleurieu Film Festival invites you to its 2025 edition at the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Visitors Centre.
BYO Picnic and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol must be purchased and consumed onsite.

Gather your friends, picnic under the stars, and enjoy pre-screening entertainment from the Onkaparinga Concert Band and more.
During the screening, you have several seating options to make your evening comfortable:
- Spread out a picnic rug in the area closest to the screen.
- Bring folding chairs to set up just behind the picnic area.
- Take advantage of our provided seating further back.
- Limited table seating is also available under the verandah at the Visitor Centre.
Indulge in a variety of food from selected food vans, purchase wine or beer from the bar, relish delicious coffee, and you can also bring your own non-alcoholic beverages.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and ample seating is available.
